Trench Dogs came together over beers in a dimly lit pub on the south side of Stockholm in 2013. The years that followed included a couple of line up changes and a two track single release named “Blood Noses and Beers”. Trench Dogs then released the four track EP “Fashionably Late” in 2015 and the single "Wine Stained Eyes" in 2016. In 2017 the band went through another line up change that expanded the band into the five piece they are today.

On the 24th of August 2018 Trench Dogs released their debut full length album "Year Of The Dog". The album was independently released and received multiple positive reviews and was placed on the Sweden Rock Magazines top 50 albums of 2018 list. 2018 and 2019 following the release of the album the band toured England, Germany, Finland and Spain as well as playing multiple shows in Sweden. In the fall of 2019 Trench Dogs played support for Michael Monroe on the Swedish leg of their European tour.

In 2022 Trench Dogs signed a record deal with the Swedish label "Wild Kingdom records/Sound Pollution" and on March 3rd 2023 the second album "Stockholmiana" was released. The album climbed to the official Swedish music charts and landed on a #1 place on the vinyl chart, #3 on the physical chart and #6 on the Rock/Metal chart and was praised by reviewers and fans all over the world.
